During this day, many activities adapted to the age of the children are proposed to you so that they obtain knowledge on the medieval period. Depending on your choice of workshops, your pupils can learn more about medieval societies and life in the castle.
Thematic visit
Enjoy an hour-long visit during which your students will discover life at Fontaine-Henry Castle during the Middle Ages.

Illumination workshop - This workshop allows children to discover the art of illumination in the Middle Ages so that they can make one themselves.

Medieval Dance - Learn the basic steps of medieval dance, allowing you to learn more about the societies of the time and their customs.

Medieval board games - Discover medieval board games such as merelle, and learn the rules of this popular game.

Heraldry Workshop - Discover coats of arms and their design in this workshop. You will also learn the ancient names of the colours and their meanings on the coat of arms.
