Guinguette of the Liberation

This Saturday 24 June, from 8pm onwards, come and celebrate your new-found freedom with a dance party on the theme of 1944 and the Liberation. Come and experience the atmosphere of the Liberation with men and women dressed in 1940s attire. We invite you to come dressed as you were back then if you feel like it.

Dancing evening and refreshment bar

From 8 p.m., the castle opens its doors to you to discover it under a new aspect: that of the Liberation. Come and experience the warm and festive atmosphere of this emotional moment.
You will be able to dance to the music of the time and quench your thirst at the refreshment bar.

1940s themed night tours

Fancy a break from the dance party? Don't worry, you can also visit the castle by candlelight to learn more about the castle during the Occupation and the D-Day Landings. For a longer and more detailed visit you can also follow the owner and share a drink with him on the castle's terrace.

Chatelain visits

Follow the owner on an evening tour full of memories and family anecdotes.

Competition of elegance

Take part in the elegance contest by coming dressed as in the past. The marquis will choose the winner!

Lantern throw

A lantern launch is planned for the late evening in the park of the château to celebrate the regained freedom and in homage to the soldiers of the D-Day landings, and more particularly those from our sector, Juno Beach: the Canadian soldiers.

Lanterns will be on sale in the shop.

Survey in the park

Discover the park of the castle by solving the investigation on the destruction of the roofs during the Landing in June 1944.

The investigation takes place independently and outdoors, which allows the children to become familiar with the sometimes wild natural spaces surrounding the Château... A booklet is distributed to each family.

On June 24, 2023 from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m..
