Restoration of the gothic balustrade
After the work on the eastern terrace and the chapel walls, it is now the turn of the gothic balustrade to be restored! The Caen stone, which is very crumbly, is in danger of falling off and the Château de Fontaine-Henry is in danger of losing some of its stone lace.
A treasure in danger
This architectural heritage was in danger. The balustrade was in danger of collapsing and therefore required urgent intervention. Preliminary studies were carried out so that the DRAC and the Architectes des Bâtiments de France could intervene to consolidate this Gothic balustrade.
